In order to create an adequate storage-technological background of a modern operation, it is necessary to ensure storage capacities for raw materials (grain) while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of the quality of the stored raw materials.
This project deals with the construction of four grain silos with a volume of 4 x 3152 m3/2 314 t, a total of 9 256 t.
On the basis of an engineering-geological survey, the designed silos (4 units with a capacity of 2,314 t each) are placed on reinforced concrete slabs with a thickness of 0,6 m. The silos will be supplied from the receiving facility from above. Collection towards further processing will be dealt with in the lower part. The silo body itself is steel, with a circular plan with a diameter of 16,81 m and a height of 17,35 m.
Each silo is mounted on a reinforced concrete ring anchored to the base plate.
Technical specifications
One completed building/silo will have:
- 2314 t grain storage capacity
- 200 t/h receiving capacity
- 200 t/h unloading capacity
- 242 kW total electrical installed power
There is a possibility to build a flat warehouse up to 100 000t capacity.
